SWE-NESS
Society of Women Engineers
New England Shoreline Section

SWE-NESS is a medium-sized section within the Society of Women Engineers, having fewer than 50 members. Our members live in Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut and we have three collegiate sections:  Brown University, Roger Williams University and University of Rhode Island.

Our award-winning Outreach programs are designed for students from elementary school through college. There are programs specific to every school age level, and all SWE members (student and professional) are encouraged to help us make these outreach programs fun and educational for all concerned.

We also coordinate a number of professional development meetings each year, designed to provide networking opportunities both within SWE, and also with other science and engineering organizations.
