Nancy Jurnak
Nancy joined SWE while at Alfred University and has been an active member of SWE-NESS since 2005. She has worked on fund development and is currently the 2006-2007 Vice President and Membership Development Chair.
Nancy is a graduate of Alfred University, NY with a bachelor’s degree in Material Science and Engineering. She received her MBA from Northeastern University, MA. She was formerly a Program Manger for Microchip Technology Inc., a leading provider of microcontroller and analog semiconductors. She was responsible for managing the commercialization of the SmartShunt®, a current sensor for hybrid electric vehicle batteries.
Nancy enjoys restoring antique furniture and can be found searching for finds online, around New England and especially at the annual Brimfield Antique shows. Nancy, her husband and family; a daughter and two sons, also enjoy RI fishing, boating and beaches.
