TREASURER

Kimberly McLean

Kimberly is a Charter member of SWE-NESS and served as its first Section Representative.  In addition she has held many other offices and committee chairs including President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Membership Chair and Newsletter editor.  She has been an active member since the section chartered in 1989.

She graduated from Western New England College with a BSEE and has a Masters in Computer Science from RPI.  She has worked at Electric Boat Corporation for over 15 years in various areas including Combat Systems, Ship Control Systems, Electronic Development, and Computer Systems Technology.  She is currently employed as an Principal Engineer in the Information Technology, Computer Infrastructure Group.  In addition, she has just completed the process of becoming a Certified Manager.

Most of Kimberly's spare time is spent with her husband Geoff and daughter Libby.  In the summer that would mean spending every spare minute camping if Libby had her way.  But she still finds a little time to pursue her hobby of genealogy; she currently has traced over 500 ancestors in her direct line!
