We’ve heard from URI-SWE Advisor that the descendent of Elsie Eaves, who is donating his great-aunt’s work desk to URI SWE, will be at the October 24th dinner event. Elsie Eaves graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from University of Colorado in 1920 and was the first female member of ASCE and an early member of SWE.
URI-SWE is hoping that this FREE dinner event (funded by generous sponsors)will be a great opportunity for professionals and collegiates to mingle and enjoy dinner together.
